Barbara Leidy Photography LLC has served the Delaware Valley for over 20 years. Besides being a Certified Professional Photographer through the Professional Photographers of America, Barbara is an award winning wedding photographer. Her wedding style incorporates both a classical style and photojournalism. Clients appreciate her attention to detail and unobtrusiveness. Other areas of specialty are children's photography, babies, maternity portraits, families, and pet photography. Barbara has earned numerous awards nationally and locally for her photographic achievements, and is a member of the Professional Photographers of America, Wedding & Portrait Photographers International, and the Guild of Professional Photographers of the Delaware Valley. For over 5 years she was a Trustee for the Mid-Atlantic Regional School of Professional Photography, a nationally acclaimed school for professional photographers in Victorian Cape May, New Jersey. Besides her knowledge of photography, Barbara has a Masters Degree in Counseling from Villanova University, and worked for many years with abused children and their families. For several years Barbara served as Chairperson for the Case Review Team at Montgomery County Children & Youth. Although Barbara has devoted many years to public service, her first love has always been photography. As seen in her portrait gallery, Barbara and her husband have traveled extensively throughout the country, particularly the Southwest. Besides being an avid outdoor photographer, traveler & sports enthusiast, Barbara is a skilled gardener. The settings in her outdoor garden studio as well as her breathtaking images of a wedding day reflect her passion for beauty, and her ability to capture it in photographs.
